Athanasios Kafritsas shares his experience of participating in Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs
Athanasios Kafritsas traveled to Cyprus for fout months as a New Entrepreneur in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program and is sharing her experience with you:
”During my participation in the business, I was actively involved in observing and supporting the daily operations of a mobile food service business. I gained hands-on experience in workflow organization, customer service, food preparation processes, stock management, pricing strategies, hygiene and food safety procedures, and event-based operations. I also took part in discussions related to branding, menu development, and overall business planning.
The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme played an important role in helping me further develop my own business idea. Through this experience, I gained practical knowledge and direct exposure to real entrepreneurial practices that strengthened my understanding of how to operate and manage a mobile food business efficiently. I also discovered new ideas related to sustainability, customer engagement, and business growth strategies.
This experience helped me refine my business concept and gave me greater confidence in moving forward with my plan to establish my own mobile food and coffee truck, with future potential for expansion both in Greece and internationally”.
