📊 Neurodiversity & Employment: An Unfulfilled Promise 

Less than 10% of people on the autism spectrum are employed — and many of them hold low-paid or sheltered jobs, despite having high qualifications. 

Among those who are employed, 43% require workplace support, but only 12% actually receive it, and just 13% consider the support effective.

These statistics highlight the urgent need for better support and meaningful inclusion in the workplace. 

🤝 The WIN – Work Inclusion for Neurodiversity project, in which OECON GROUP actively participates, aims to close this gap — offering practical solutions for inclusion, employer training, employee support, and greater visibility of neurodivergent individuals in the job market.
