Learning to Care for Nature and Ecosystems
Biodiversity loss is progressing at an alarming rate, directly affecting ecosystem functioning, food security, public health, and societies’ ability to adapt to climate change. Protecting nature is no longer an option, but a necessity for sustainable development and human well-being.
n the upcoming Green4Adu educational module, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the causes and consequences of biodiversity loss through experiential activities and guided reflection
- Develop practical skills in areas such as nature conservation, ecological restoration, and sustainable land management
- Learn about national and international policies, strategies, and initiatives aimed at protecting ecosystems
- Explore career and educational opportunities in emerging “green” sectors such as ecology, environmental education, and sustainable agriculture
