Building Education for All: Myths & Truths about Inclusion

🎓 Myths & Truths about Disability and Education, inspired by the European project Inclusive Apprenticeships, proudly supported by OECON GROUP.

🔍 Myth: People with disabilities cannot participate in vocational education.
✅ Truth: With the right adaptations and support, EVERYONE has the right and ability to take part in education and training!

🔍 Myth: Including people with disabilities in apprenticeship programs is too complex and expensive.
✅ Truth: Inclusion is not a luxury. It is necessary and achievable. There are tools, resources, and best practices that support both educators and employers.

🔍 Myth: People with disabilities are not as productive professionally.
✅ Truth: When given the opportunity, people with disabilities perform just as well – and often even better – than their peers!

The European project Inclusive Apprenticeships aims to create a more accessible and inclusive Vocational Education and Training (VET) system through:

✔️ Development of flexible educational tools
✔️ Training of mentors to support learners with fewer opportunities
✔️ Designing training programs that respect diversity
✔️ Promoting a culture of inclusion in organizations and businesses
✔️ Raising employer awareness of the benefits of inclusion
