OECON GROUP at the 4th Transnational Project Meeting of GreenHost

OECON GROUP actively participated in the 4th Transnational Project Meeting (TPM4) of the European GreenHost CoVE Project, which took place on 19–20 May 2026 in Maribor, Slovenia, hosted by the Secondary School of Tourism and Catering Maribor (SŠGT Maribor).

During the meeting, the 19 partners from 7 European countries (Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Italy, Spain, and Portugal) collaborated on:

– monitoring the project’s progress and key deliverables,

– strengthening cooperation between education, businesses, and policy stakeholders to develop more sustainable and innovative practices in the tourism and hospitality sector,

– enhancing collaboration between education, businesses, and policy makers to support greener and more innovative approaches in the field.

 

Key project activities discussed included:

– the further development and activation of the Transnational Online Collaboration Platform, which supports networking among educational institutions, businesses, and professionals,

– the completion of innovative training programmes and educational material for students, graduates, and professionals in tourism and hospitality,

– upcoming mobility actions, internships, and labour‑market‑oriented activities that will reinforce green and digital skills in the sector.

– Additionally, the 4th Progress Evaluation Report of the project was presented, confirming the positive implementation trajectory and the increasing engagement of stakeholders and businesses.

-OECON GROUP, in collaboration with the University of Macedonia (project coordinator), the Halkidiki Chamber of Commerce, and the KEK Technical Schools of the Heraklion Chamber, contributed actively to the discussions and planning of the next steps, aiming to maximise the project’s impact and support the sustainable transition of the hospitality sector.
