The main objectives of the European project IMMiNTE
OECON GROUP, as a partner of the European project IMMiNTE, actively contributes to the development of innovative Vocational Education and Training (VET) solutions tailored to the hospitality and tourism sector.
The main objective of IMMiNTE is to develop a comprehensive VET package adapted to the evolving needs of the HORECO sector.
The project:
- Creates upskilling and reskilling pathways for migrants through specialized language courses and professional training modules.
- Addresses existing skills gaps, enhancing employability and supporting smooth integration into the labour market.
- Integrates an interactive educational simulation game, offering hands-on, experiential learning in realistic working environments.
More specifically, IMMiNte aims to:
• Empower and reskill migrants with professional competences to thrive in the HORECO sector.
• Equip the HORECO sector with the necessary skills to build a diverse workforce, improve service quality, and ensure smooth cultural transition.
• Raise awareness among decision-makers about the value of a multicultural workforce.
