IMMiNTE Project Kick-off Meeting
The 1st (Kick-off) Meeting of the European project IMMiNTE – Integration of Migrants into the Tourism and Hospitality Sector in the EU was successfully held, marking the official launch of a collaborative initiative with a strong focus on inclusion, skills development, and employability.
During the meeting, project partners focused on:
- the initial planning and organisational setup of the consortium
- defining the next implementation steps
- shaping the stakeholder engagement strategy, involving actors from the tourism and hospitality sectors, as well as migrants as the project’s main target group
- outlining the communication and dissemination strategy of the IMMiNTE project
IMMiNTE aims to develop an integrated Vocational Education and Training (VET) package, combining language training, sector-specific professional skills, and experiential learning through an interactive simulation-based educational game. The project addresses skills gaps in the HORECO sector while enhancing migrants’ employability and smooth integration into the labour market.
As a project partner, OECON GROUP is responsible for:
- the strategic design and implementation of the Stakeholder Engagement Plan
- Quality Assurance activities
- periodic reporting and dissemination actions supporting the project’s visibility and impact
IMMiNTE aspires to foster a more inclusive, diverse, and resilient workforce in the tourism and hospitality sector across Europe.
