Green Urban Design for Sustainable & Resilient Cities
🌿 How can your cities withstand the climate crisis and become greener, more sustainable and more humane?
The answer lies in Green Urban Design, an innovative way of thinking and acting that brings nature back to your cities. Through nature-based solutions, it integrates sustainability, inclusion and community well-being into everyday life.
OECON GROUP, through the European Green Transitions project, is designing a comprehensive training module on green urban design, giving practical tools and examples for you who want to contribute to this transition.
📗 Module 4 – Green Urban Design includes:
✅ Nature-based infrastructures such as green roofs, urban forests and bioclimatic buildings
✅ Smart water management, such as rainwater harvesting, eco-friendly floors and grey water recycling
✅ People-centred design that enhances sustainable mobility, social cohesion and citizen participation
If you are an educator, urban planner, local leader or active citizen, you can:
🌱 Support green infrastructure in your neighbourhood
🏫 Organise intergenerational sustainability workshops
