{"id":23170,"date":"2026-07-30T12:13:39","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T12:13:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oecon.gr\/?p=23170"},"modified":"2026-07-31T07:40:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T07:40:08","slug":"central-macedonia-launches-its-first-regional-skills-partnership-for-the-twin-transition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oecon.gr\/en\/central-macedonia-launches-its-first-regional-skills-partnership-for-the-twin-transition\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Macedonia Launches Its First Regional Skills Partnership for the Twin Transition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A major European recognition for <strong>Central Macedonia<\/strong> and its skills ecosystem comes with the approval of the region&#8217;s first <strong>Regional Skills Partnership (RSP)<\/strong>, entitled<strong> Twin Transition Skills Hub for Central Macedonia (TT-CM)<\/strong>, by the European Commission under the framework of the<strong> Pact for Skills.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The initiative was <strong>launched by OECON GROUP,<\/strong> which serves as the coordinator of the partnership, bringing together chambers of commerce, business support organizations, and social stakeholders with a shared vision of developing the skills required for the Twin Transition, namely the combined Green and Digital Transition.<\/p>\n<p>The approval of the partnership represents an important milestone for the region, as only 48 Regional Skills Partnerships are currently active across Europe, with TT-CM being<strong> the first one established in Macedonia, Greece.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The partnership aims to create a strong regional ecosystem for collaboration, fostering upskilling and reskilling initiatives, supporting business competitiveness, promoting lifelong learning, and expanding access to European networks, funding opportunities, and innovation-driven cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>The founding members of the partnership include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>OECON Group (Coordinator)<\/li>\n<li>Halkidiki Chamber of Commerce<\/li>\n<li>Thessaloniki Chamber of Small Industries and Crafts (BETH)<\/li>\n<li>Kilkis Chamber of Commerce<\/li>\n<li>Imathia Chamber of Commerce<\/li>\n<li>Smart Umbrella Management Solutions<\/li>\n<li>SEGE (Association of Businesswomen of Greece)<\/li>\n<li>Dot2Dot Social Cooperative Enterprise<\/li>\n<li>Balkan Women Coalition<\/li>\n<li>WEHUB<\/li>\n<li>WEnCoop<\/li>\n<li>Cube NGO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Through this initiative, OECON GROUP further strengthens its commitment to building strategic partnerships and delivering impactful actions that enhance human capital, innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable regional development, contributing to a more resilient and competitive future for Central Macedonia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A major European recognition for Central Macedonia and its skills [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":23176,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[77],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-23170","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-chrisima-nea-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v14.4.1 -
