We are excited to announce the launch of EMPOWER!<\/p>\n

OECON is proud to be a partner in EMPOWER, a new European project dedicated to strengthening media literacy, digital resilience, and critical thinking in an increasingly complex digital world.<\/p>\n

In an era of misinformation, AI-generated content, and rapidly evolving digital technologies, EMPOWER will empower citizens with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to critically evaluate information, recognise manipulation, and navigate digital environments safely and responsibly.<\/p>\n

Through an inclusive multilingual digital platform, innovative learning resources, and a practical self-assessment tool, the project will support learners, educators, professionals, and communities across Europe in building stronger digital and media literacy competences.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccc OECON leads Work Package 2, coordinating the research and development of the EMPOWER Competence Framework. Our team is responsible for analysing the media literacy landscape across participating countries, identifying emerging competence needs, and designing an evidence-based framework that will underpin the project’s educational resources and digital tools.<\/p>\n

We are excited to collaborate with our European partners and contribute to building more informed, resilient, and digitally empowered communities.<\/p>\n
