The textile sector is entering a new phase, with science driving real change. Innovative technologies are reshaping the traditional \u201cproduce\u2013use\u2013discard\u201d model and moving the industry toward circularity.<\/p>\n

Some of the key developments already shaping the future:
\n– Chemical recycling that converts polyester into high-quality raw material
\n– Hyperspectral sorting for rapid fiber identification
\n– Enzyme-based solutions that break down natural fibers like cotton and wool
\n– Digital product passports enabling full traceability
\n– Advanced mechanical recycling producing stronger fibers<\/p>\n

Through the webinars of the European project SiT<\/strong> <\/a>(Sustainability in TCLF), these developments are highlighted while practical knowledge is provided on how to implement them, actively supporting the transition toward a more circular and sustainable industry.<\/p>\n
