Women Economic-independence &#038; Growth Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The main objective of the \u201cWE GO! Women Economic Independence &amp; Growth Opportunity\u201d Project (acronym WE GO!) is to strengthen support services for women victims of intimate partner violence in Europe, with a particular regard to training and advisory services that shelters\/women\u2019s centres offer to these victims. It focuses on the capacity building of trainers and officers of these centres and the development of new methods\/responses to address the lack of economic alternatives for women victims. Thanks to WE GO!, centres will become more responsive to economic needs of victims (often a secondary focus following legal support), who will be able to exit situation of violence as a result of being empowered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To enhance amongst practitioners cross border cooperation of support services targeting women victims of violence, identifying and exchanging good practices from at least 8 European countries that foster victims\u2019 economic empowerment;<\/li>\n<li>To enhance the practitioners\u2019 understanding and skills by proposing models\/protocols of support paths that will help victims in gaining economic independence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Expected results:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 women involved in training activities during the whole project lifetime;<\/li>\n<li>35-50 anti-violence centres operators involved in training activities;<\/li>\n<li>50 professionals involved in comparative analysis and exchange activities;<\/li>\n<li>100 policy makers\/institutional representatives reached;<\/li>\n<li>1,000 stakeholders informed about the project\u2019s results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wegoproject.eu\/\">http:\/\/www.wegoproject.eu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Partnership:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; SEGE &#8211; Greek Association of Women Entrepreneurs (Greece)<br \/>\n&#8211; Animus Association Foundation (Italy)<br \/>\n&#8211; Associazione Donatella Tellini-biblioteca Delle Donne-ce (Italy)<br \/>\n&#8211; Bulgarian Centre Of Women In Technology (Bulgaria)<br \/>\n&#8211; Centro Veneto Progetti Donna-auser (Italy)<br \/>\n&#8211; C.i.f-centro Italiano Femminile Provinciale Di Reggio Cal (Italy)<br \/>\n&#8211; Euclid Network (UK)<br \/>\n&#8211; Folkuniversitetet, Stiftelsen F\u00f6r Kursverksamheten Vid Up (Sweden)<br \/>\n&#8211; Fundaci\u00f3n Mujeres (Spain)<br \/>\n&#8211; Gender Project for Bulgaria Foundation (Bulgaria)<br \/>\n&#8211; Istituto Per La Ricerca Sociale (Italy)<br \/>\n&#8211; Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies \u2013 MIGS (Cyprus)<br \/>\n&#8211; Surt.
